Beautiful elliptical design with decorative satin nickel finish and locking metal roof.
Integrated moving cage closes all four any seed ports with pressure from squirrels on the roof or perch.
Squirrels can't get the seed- feed birds, not squirrels!
Wide-mouth design offers easier filling to reduce or eliminate spillage.
Seed allocated evenly to all four ports- no more empty ports.
Unique adjustable depth perches.
4.2 pound capacity, 4 ports.
Filling the Feeder
Step 1: Remove locking metal roof by squeezing the plastic tabs located under the rim and lifting.
Step 2: Pour seed into the wide top.
Step 3: Lock roof back onto feeder by placing it on feeder opening. Push down on one side until you hear a click as the roof locks onto the plastic tab. Repeat on the other side. Your feeder is now ready to hang. The locking metal roof keeps squirrels out of your feeder.
Cleaning the Feeder
Remove locking metal roof by squeezing the plastic tabs located under the rim and lifting. Hand wash with warm water and a mild antibacterial soap. Rinse thoroughly and let dry completely before refilling with seed.

This is my 2nd one and I love them. I haven't had
any problems with this unit and the birds go to this
unit over a different brand I was using. I've
replaced that one.David Schoch, Fri Jun 05, 2015
This should be called “squirrel feeder “ or “bird
murderer.” No sooner had I hung up my Squirrel X1 than
a squirrel quickly defeated its sophisticated
mechanisms by gnawing the cheap plastic clasps off and
ripping off the top. I contacted the manufacturer who
said I must not have the newest model. They sent me
another one gratis which was EXACTLY THE SAME MODEL!
Needless to say, the squirrels gnawed the top off that
one in no time flat. I then started filling only the
lower chamber in hopes of keeping the squirrels away
from that food. The squirrels figured out how to hang
on the edge of the lid without engaging the weight
mechanism. The last straw was when I came home and
found a bird with its decapitated head in the feeding
chamber. Apparently it had landed on the feeder and
taken a bite at the same time a squirrel was initiating
an assault and it was guillotined in the act. That was
the last straw for me. I don’t mind losing some feed to
some squirrels but murdering birds is not my goal.
Whatever you do, do not waste your money on this feeder
thinking you are going to defeat some squirrels!mw2108, Thu Jul 31, 2014
When food gets low, small birds get inside feeder and
can't get out. This one is in the trash pile now
as I don't want to see another bird die!Gloria Dunnavant, Tue Jun 24, 2014
squirrels in my yard have absolutely no problem lifting
the "squirrelproof" lid of the feeder by
repeatedly banging their nose under the rim of the lid
until it opens. This is a poor design that needs
rethinking.Either we have very clever squirrels or this
is a general problem that others see.david clark, Sun Mar 02, 2014
I am happy and will purchase againBrian C Lee, Mon, Sep 20, 2010
This didn't work for us. Maybe I have extra smart
squirrels because they have not only managed to get the
seeds out, but they have broken the mechanism that is
supposed to close the ports when the squirrels place
their weight on the bars. I guess I will continue
searching for the perfect squirrel proof feeder.Renee, Wed Apr 17, 2013
Bought one last year. It drops very little birdseed.
thus eliminating excess birdseed piles on the ground
and all the problems that come with that. I purchased
five this year. It's not funny but the squirrels
have been fighting because they can't get to the
food. Lid clip is plastic though and I broke the first
one. Now the squirrels can get in it.. Don't push
too hard on the clip!deana, Sun Mar 24, 2013
