These liners are fish and aquatic life friendly because they contain none of the algaecides & fire retardants found in roofing EPDM. In fact, durable EPDM Firestone Pond Liners are specially formulated for water gardens. 20 year guarantee.

45 Mil EPDM Firestone Liner is the most widely used material in water gardening. Formulated for water garden applications and is consistently produced to the strict specifications by Firestone Incorporated. 45 mil EPDM Pond Liners rubber membrane is extremely flexible. The liner is approx .33lbs per square foot. This pond liner comes with a 20 year manufactures warrenty and will not deteriorate in direct sunlight. The 45 mil pond liner is Ozone resistant. This is genuine Pond Guard Firestone pond liner.

To calculate required liner size, determine the rectangular size of your pond. If your pond is irregular, determine the size rectangle in which your pond will fit. The liner size your pond will require can be calculated as follows: the planned width plus twice the depth and 2 feet for the edges and the length plus twice the depth and, again, 2 feet for the edges. For example, if you wish to build a 10' x 15' pond that is 4' in depth, you would need a 20' x 25' liner (10 + 4 + 4 + 2 = 20' wide; 15 + 4 + 4 + 2 = 25' long).
