Patriot™ is the only cattle insecticide ear tag on the market containing 40% diazinon (6,000 mg per tag) that controls horn and face flies, ticks and lice. One tag can be clipped on beef cattle and nonlactating dairy cattle for adequate control, or two-per-animal for optimal control.

As part of the organophosphate class of chemistry, Patriot can be used in a fly control rotation program to knock down and control pyrethroid-resistant horn flies. The injection molded ear tag slowly releases its active ingredient, 40% diazinon, offering protection for up to five months. They are available in box sizes of 20.
