We were so hoping this feeder would keep the squirrels out, but no such luck. Kept the large gray squirrels out but the smaller red tailed ones figured it out within an hour. Somehow they manage to keep only on foot on perch and the other one holding on to the feeder. This way there is not enough weight to keep the seed windows closed.
