The heavy-duty battery pack is designed to be removed from the clipper
housing for the purposes of re-charging. You can also re-charge the battery with
it still attached to the clipper hand piece. To remove the battery from the
handpiece simply depress the button immediately beneath the on/off switch. (see
clipper diagram) The battery can now be gently pulled apart. When connecting the
battery pack to the clipper housing ensure that it is pushed well home - you
will see the button depress before returning to its normal position. There
should be no gap between the battery pack and the clipper handpiece casing -
this will ensure the correct contact.
When fully charged the battery unit should provide one hour of continuous clip
time. Re-charging fully takes from between 45 and 60 minutes. Modern battery
packs may take 4/5 periods of re-charge before they hold a full charge - this is
normal.
Keep the battery pack unit dry and clean. Do not damage the four terminals.
Ensure they are free from dirt grease or other foreign matter as this can effect
the recharge capability of the battery unit.
