I bought this feeder for a friend's horse who has paralysis of portions of his esophagus and must have semi-liquid feed to avoid choking. He'a an aggressive eater so would bury his face in the liquid feed and end up with feed up his nose and then would start to choke. Now with this divided feeder, no choking!
