This does protect the top of the a feeder, but certainly not from a rain. The hook is too long underneath to cover enough of the feeder.Paula, Tue Dec 06, 2011
I use this product as a rain shield for my seed. Effective for normal rains. With a wind driven rain, of course, it will not protect the seed. Of the three I bought, this is my favorite because of the double hooks. I can hang any size feeder under this one.Maureen Palumbo, Fri Jan 28, 2011
