Cleaning Your Window Sill:
It is important that you thoroughly clean the window sill you have chosen before attempting to install the Window Perch. After cleaning, allow at least two hours to ensure that the window sill is completely dry. Make sure that all moisture and any residue from cleaning solutions is completely removed from the window sill prior to installation.

I have a 14 pound Shih Tzu that uses this every day. My windows were all too tall for him to look out of and he loves to be able to see outside. I put this near a chair so he uses the chair to help him jump up on the cat perch. I did need to screw the perch onto the window sill so it would be sturdy enough put no problem since its there to stay. He uses this more than anything I have ever bought!Mark, Fri Feb 11, 2011
