We have had our "high rise" cage for over a year. We have 2 busy boy gerbils in it and they love it. They were very cute the day we got it, exploring all the levels and running up and down the ramps. They are both champion chewers and chewed through 2 plastic cages. This one is totally chew proof! Love it and highly recommend!Cherie , Sat Dec 28, 2013
This product is perfect for gerbils, as they like to burrow deep and this allows them space to climb, exercise, and have a wheel and food not buried in the bedding. Also, unlike other models, the ramps are not plastic, which could kill your gerbil and regardless would be destroyed by chewing. This is good and cheap - a rare combination.
