GreenView Seed Starter Fertilizer and Crabgrass Preventer 11-23-10 provides crabgrass control for newly seeded lawns without harming the germination of grass seed.  It is excellent when used while overseeding established turf and prevents crabgrass for approximately 4 to 6 weeks as it fertilizes.

The best time to apply:
The best time to apply is in spring or early fall when seeding or overseeding your lawn. The grass should be dry when applied and the product should be watered in the achieve maximum results.  Application can be made using all makes and models of spreaders (drop or broadcast). 
TIP: For optimum results, it is best to plant seed in the spring before the summer heat begins or in early fall after the heat has passed.
