Power Bones are made with the right balance of quick-burning and slow-burning carbohydrates, plus they contain the optimal balance of protein, fat and fibers dogs need when they are working, playing or competing hard.
What's in Zuke's Power Bones that makes them so good?
Zuke's Power Bones contain the highest quality, natural ingredients. The premium blend of nutrients begin with high quality protein for strong muscles - real beef or chicken (not low quality meat meals or by-products), or peanut butter. Next are simple and complex carbohydrates for energy - high fructose corn syrup (quick energy), durum wheat flour (the same type used to make pasta), dried beet molasses, and brewers yeast (B vitamins). Premium low-in-saturated-fat canola and flax seed oils provide the necessary fats for endurance (no lard or tallow), while only the best sources of fiber are used (apple pomace and carrot flakes). Finally, the vitamins and minerals active dogs need are included (Vitamin C, the energy packed B vitamins - B1, B2, B6, and B12, vitamins A, D3, and E, niacin, folic acid and more).
