horse first aid healing in the treatment of open wounds, lacerations, cuts,
sores in the mouth, puncture wounds, abscesses and other wounds involving the
skin and underlying dermal tissue layers.
Because it is in liquid form, Tea-Pro Equine Wound Healing Spray rapidly
covers the wound area without thickly coating the wound like an ointment does.
The thick coating of a wound area with ointments or salves can actually retard
the healing process by essentially "blocking" rapid cell growth as the body
tries to heal the wound. Our solution does not "occupy the space," so to speak,
like an ointment does where new tissue growth should be occurring. Tea-Pro

I bought this product to use on a horse that had tripped and fallen removing a large portion of skin high up on his inner hind leg across his belly to his sheath. Due to the area of the injury we were unable to wrap it, or apply stitches. It was cleaned daily and The Healing Tree Tea-Pro Equine Wound spray was applied. That was all.
